Brekete Family Visits Sardauna LGA

A popular Nigerian television programme, Brekete Family, has visited Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State on an inspection tour to assess the developmental strides of Governor Agbu Kefas.

The Executive Chairman of Sardauna Local Government Area, Muhammad Jirji Umar, received the delegation from Brekete Family at his office in Gembu and commended the station for visiting the Mambilla Plateau.

The delegation, led by Suleiman Abdulrazaq, popularly known as Akaramakallah, said the visit was part of a fact-finding mission aimed at assessing the governor's developmental initiatives and other key projects across the state.

During the tour, the chairman also took the opportunity to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for remembering the people of the area and fulfilling promises made after the plebiscite.

The chairman further expressed gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for delivering the dividends of democracy to Sardauna Local Government Area and acknowledged the approval of a tertiary institution for the area, which is expected to commence operations soon.

Muhammad Jirji Umar said the construction of the Gembu-Mbamnga-Yang-Lip Road has boosted economic activities and improved accessibility within the area.

He also appealed to the Federal Government to expedite work on the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project, noting that, upon completion, it will provide electricity to Sardauna Local Government Area, Taraba State, and Nigeria at large.

Places visited during the tour included the Gembu-Mbamnga-Yang-Lip Road, the Sardauna Local Government Secretariat, the T.Y. Danjuma House in Gembu, the proposed site for the University of Tropical Agriculture, the Taraba State Broadcasting Service (TSBS), and Mambilla Beverages Nigeria Limited, among others.
