Meet Maryam Maduka (popularly known as Flasheazzy aka Hausa Girl Swag)
Born and raised in the heart of Jalingo, Taraba State, Maryam Maduka is a shining example of talent, determination, and passion. An entrepreneur at heart, she is the proud CEO of MK Collection, a thriving business she built from the ground up.
Even during her school years, Maryam was a powerhouse. As a secondary school student, she was a celebrated athlete, representing Taraba State as a 100-meter female sprinter. Her outstanding performance took her to competitions across Nigeria, including Delta, Ilorin, Bauchi, Enugu, Maiduguri (Biu), Yobe, and more.
In 2016, Maryam expanded her creative horizons by venturing into music. With an innate talent for storytelling through rhythm and melody, she released hit tracks like Sadakina and collaborated with other artists, such as Bokan Taraba, on songs like Maganan Banza.
Her hard work and dedication earned her a contract with Glow Free Concept in 2021, which lasted for a fruitful 1 year and 6 months. During this time, she achieved incredible milestones, including being named Female Artist of the Year and Most Promising Artist at the KEMA Awards. She also won the Student Artist of the Year award at Taraba State University (TSU).
Despite her musical success, Maryam prioritized her education and graduated from TSU with flying colors. Now awaiting her NYSC service, she reflects on her journey and looks forward to the future with optimism.
